New Years: New Rules
Ok, so the title is a bit lame, but hey, go with it for a bit, please? Thanks! ^_^
New Year
With it being 2012, there’s a lot going on for me. I’m getting married in April, the world is ending in December, and I’m sure there’s lot of stuff in between. So what does that mean for me?
Well, I’m going to be doing a lot of stuff in the next few months to get ready for the wedding, it’s on the 13th, btw. That means I’m going to be busier than I have been since it’s crunch time. Since I’m not going to have a lot of time to procrastinate, I’m hoping that encourages me to post more.
Resolutions
It’s a time honoured tradition to make loads of promises to yourself in January, only to stop somewhere in April or May. I’ve never really been one to do them, but why not try, right? Also, since I’m making resolutions about my blog, I find it only fitting to announce it to the world, right?
This Year, I Plan on…
- Getting married (a freebie, I know :p)
- Blogging twice a month
- Being more active in the communities of podcasts I listen to
- Reviewing RPG books regularly - don’t ask me what “regularly” is, because I don’t know yet
- As an aside to the above, do some interviews of RPG people
- Keeping my new and awesome job (hopefully another freebie!)
Wow, that’s 6 resolutions! Balls-to-the-wall, I guess.
How You Can Help
Ok, now that y’all know what I’m up to, can you help me to accomplish them? Specifically
- Bug me on twitter about blogging—especially if I don’t mention it in a while.
- How does one get more active on podcast communities? I’ve been a lurker pretty much my entire internet life, so tips from the pros would be great!
- What do y’all like to see in reviews? Do you know of any current reviews that I can read to mine for info?
- For those of you who interview often, how do you do it? What are your recipes for success?
